Almost three months ago ( to the day ), my wonderful wife and I embarked on a journey to the magical land of “Europe”.

We had finished all our planning – the Airbnb’s,  the seven hour bus rides from city to city, and packed our backpacks to the brim – and we set out.  And it’s kinda true what Bilbo said, about it being dangerous going out your front door because there’s no knowing where you might get swept off to.

How-to Find Your Purpose – Part 4 : Steinbeck and the Story of Life

If you read this, you’d know that East of Eden is one of my favourite books of all time.  Even with that, it’s amazing how quickly I forget some of the best passages in there.  I guess that’s why this quote will always be true :
